The Facial Vein Laser
Typically, this laser is used to remove spider veins on the face, port wine stain birthmarks, and cherry angiomas on the chest and back. This laser works by trageting the red blood cells beneath the surface and leaves the skin intact. An average treatment is 15 minutes. Most lesions will fade away with one treatment. However, this varies from one person to another.
The Leg Vein Laser
This laser is the first laser to obtain FDA approval for the treatment of leg veins that are one millimeter or less. This laser works by emitting an intense burst of light that targets the blood cells in the veins, but gentle enough for the skin not to be hurt or damaged. An average treatment is between 15 and 30 minutes. Veins may fade with one treatment depending on their size and location.
Laser Hair Removal
Traditional hair removal techniques, such as shaving, plucking and waxing, provide only temporary relief. Until now, the only semi-permanent way to remove hair has been by electrolysis-which can be painful, time-consuming and is limited to small cosmetic areas. Scarring, allergic reactions and ingrown hairs are common side effects of all these hair removal methods. The hair removal laser safely removes unwanted body hair without damaging the delicate pores and structures of the skin. Facial and bikini areas are usually completed in under ten minute; legs and larger areas can take longer. It usually takes between 4 to 6 treatments for final results.
Skin Resurfacing Laser
This laser represents the latest breakthrough in laser technology for the treatment of sun damaged and weathered skin. This laser is typically used to erase upper and lower lip lines, crow’s feet and lower eye lid lines, facial wrinkles, and acne scars by peeling the top layer of the dermis and stimulating the growth of a new fresh layer of skin. An average treatment is one hour. Desirable results are achieved in one treatment. However, this will vary from one person to another.
The Tattoo Laser
This laser is used to remove professional and amateur tattoos. Tattoos inscribed as landmarks for radiation therapy are easily removed as well. Most colors are clear able, however, some colors fade at a slower rate that others. This laser works by targeting the ink pigment beneath the surface while leaving the normal skin intact. An average treatment is 15 minutes. Most tattoos require multiple treatments for complete fading.
